Dakshari Enterprise has developed a compact and efficient DAF system for the rapid removal of oil, total suspended solids (TSS), turbidity, COD, and BOD from wastewater. Designed as an all-in-one solution, the system separates sludge and water in a single unit, occupying minimal floor space compared to traditional clarifiers and conventional separators.
How It Works
The DAF system introduces millions of micro-sized air bubbles into the effluent under elevated pressure, along with treatment chemicals. These fine bubbles attach to suspended solids, oil, and other impurities, causing them to float to the surface within minutes. A specialized conveying mechanism continuously removes the floated impurities as a thick slurry, which is then sent to a slurry tank for further processing. Meanwhile, the clarified water passes through a pressure sand filter for additional filtration.
